PROJECTS
In each of the projects NAJ supports or helps develop, NAJ looks at if and how it serves the public benefit, whether the project is diverse & inclusive and whether our support can have a domino effect to catalyze more opportunities in the career development of the musician(s). Activities include, but are not limited to, organizing concert series, supporting the creation of albums, co-creating musical projects, and platforms, facilitating educational programs, and advising other organizations and foundations about the jazz landscape in the Netherlands.
Collaborations
New Amsterdam Jazz believes that amplification and collaborations go hand in hand. That is why we partner up with musicians and organizations from all over the world to foster and celebrate musical connections of different backgrounds, cultures and sounds. Artist Residencies
New Amsterdam Jazz strives to facilitate the creativity of artists. By giving musicians the opportunity to work outside of their usual environments, we enable the creation of new material and new connections!
